Let's just call it the Party of the Year!

Jaclyn and Tim threw themselves a whooping party to celebrate their marriage that included all their family and good friends. What a great couple, a great night and a great union! I was honored to attend their wedding at Christ the King in Chicago followed by a wonderful evening and party at The Belvedere Chateau in Palos Hills Illinois. This was one of those evenings that nobody wanted to end. Congratulations to Jackie and Tim, we wish you all the best! Click here to view the full gallery of pictures online.

I'd also like to thank both Shannon from A Sweet Touch Photography and Marty from MSR Photography for both coming along to photograph this wedding with me and allowing everything to go perfectly smooth all evening.

Christy and Mike's Wedding Day.

Christy and Mike decided to be wed in the fall this year and put together a wonderful wedding day followed by a seriously rockin' party at the reception. The Wayside Chapel was a gorgeous location in Palos Park Illinois for the ceremony and the reception was held at Orland Chateau. Christy, Mike and all their family and friends were a real treat to work for and I wish them the best with all their adventures in life. My thanks go out to Shannon from A Sweet Touch Photography for helping out at the reception on short notice and doing a wonderful job. The full set of images can be found in the gallery.

Joannie and Jimmy, what a great couple

I recently met with Joannie and Jim for a quick late afternoon session and walked away with some of the most memorable moments I've had in a long time. Northern Illinois weather cooperated just long enough for use to have a great time without freezing solid, which is a serious fear this time of year in Chicago. Photographing this couple was truly enjoyable, like the pressure free atmosphere of a good friends company. I'm thinking that we'll have to meet for some Chicago style hot dogs in the future, but for now enjoy this sampling of the portraits made of them.

I'd again like to thank Marty for assiting and coming up with some great ideas at this photo shoot as well as Shannon from A Sweet Touch Photography who has some shots of her own from this couple that you can find on her site.
